History

In the 80's my grandma Irene form Buffalo, NY USA came up with two games she made herself called "Gate Keeper" and "Crypt Keeper" that she coded on her Windows PC's she had at the time, she used pictures to create views along with Rhino 3D and made overlays to create the scenes, My great grandma Nowakowski designed two games herself. I liked them so much I came up with my own called "Berkserka" which later got added in my first MERC level called "Chambers" as a cross over and faster way for me to add content to it. My great grandma Nowakowski was the driving force and the reason those were actually accomplished. A process I'm recreating again. I actually idolized my grandma Irene on a lot of things. She also got us Rhino 3D and I got to play with Nurbs and later got to play with other ones. I spent time monitored by museum lawyers making 3D Models. I was told I would never be able to make a military game as I wasn't military, didn't understand the concept and my Marine Corp veteran father had more of a chance than I did and should let him do it. So, I designed the MERC Uniform hat from Marine Corp hats and put my foot down. I got ridiculed for its design a lot. My grandma Irene actually helped me make my own decisions and stuck up for me. the biggest thing my grandparents ever did correctly was understand that ideals and integrity mean a lot to a kid who is constantly being told what to do like he's a slave. I'm Polish, I was kid who understood Hitler invaded Poland in September and killed millions of people just like me, so I refused to layoff. I also understood his goals were to beat down and destroy who I am and what I represented. I'm Polish, I have my own culture and beliefs. 

This recreation or project is in honor of the times the few relatives I had that helped, when they helped, how they helped and how I enjoyed myself and my creativity. Push forward for you the rest will follow! We aren't a dying breed, or aren't obsolete, we can accomplish good things and enjoy ourselves living in our best moments again! To my great grandpa Nowakowski in the afterlife I owe you big time for the IBM's and my own things! Double back, cleanup and fix things we all fucked up nathan he once told me and, in the end, you will surprise yourself on what you knew, that not even we, knew was coming.
